This morning, I heard an announcement that we (the students) are not allowed to support our football team and watch the game, unless our parent is there.
What?! Did I just hear that correctly?! We are honestly Not Allowed to watch the game unless our Parents are there? That's pathetic. Apparently, we have travelled back in time to when we were 6 years old, where we have to have our parents watch us to make sure we behave. I guess that, IF we missed behaved, detention and/or suspention just isn't good enough anymore. Instead, we have to go back to the day where our parents slapped our wrist and said "Bad girl!" with a disappointed look on their face. And if we are being really bad, there is no bed time story for us tonight!
...Is it not supposed to be encouraged that the students support their football team and cheer loud? Does it not psych the team up and give them that last burst of energy that they need to win the game?! Does the school not realize that trying to enforce the rule of the parent being there will not drive ALL the fans away? I tell you, I thought teachers were supposed to be smart...
And so, our football team will play tonights game, Fanless, and our parents will be relieved that they will not have to slap our wrists and send us to bed without a goodnight story.

Reliving my Childhood
For my first memory, I will tell you about the time when I was 6. I was living down in Mallory Town, Ontario and my cousins came down! My cousin Amanda and I did NOT get along and we Always fought. (We've outgrown that though!) When they came down that day, I was so excited to see everyone-with the exception of Amanda. They came down, and we hugged and kissed and Amanda and I were sent off to play. We fought over toys and my mom told me I had to share. So I put up with her for a while. But then my mom told me that we were going to get our picture taken. So I ran and put on the dress above (my best dress) and came out. My mom took a picture of me, (this photo), and I did a little curtsey-pretending that I was a princess! In this dress, I felt like a princess. I loved to wear it and I didn't get to wear it often. My cousin then needed a dress and wanted the one I was wearing- and I was having NONE of That!! So I picked out the ugliest dress I had! It was an aweful faded red dress. It had some black design on it and it honestly looked BRUTAL! (My mom even laughs about it today!) And my cousin was soo mad! I took my good dress, and she got the crappy one! hahaha, it was some good times. Her and I still laugh about that today!
This is another photo that I laugh about. It was Easter time, and I LOVE the hollidays. I ran downstairs as fast as my 8 year old legs could carry me! I worked so hard on making all the decorated easter eggs the week before, and I was extremely excited! On the table, there was 4 bags, and the purple on had my name on it! I dug into it and saw all the chocolate! WOOHOO!! WHAT A DAY!! I ran around and collected all the chocolate Easter eggs before my siblings and I felt victorious! AFTER I had selffishly collected all the chocolate eggs, and ate a few, I ran upstairs to wake everyone up! "MATTHEW, SARAH, CHARLENE, MOMMY!!! WAKE UPPP! IT'S EASTER!! THE EASTER BUNNY CAME!" And as if a bomb went off, all of my siblings run downstairs, with my mom following in our trail. We ate chocolate (and I was forced to share my Chocolate eggs), and we had a good time. My mom told us that we were to have no more chocolate and to get dressed. As everyone else marched upstairs, my siblings heads hung low and protests coming from their mouths, I hid downstairs. I had saved my big easter egg for when no one was around, and I planned on eating it! Little did I know that in my thoughts and planning, my mom had noticed that I did not follow everyone upstairs. She grabbed the camera and waited.
As I opened the package as carefully as I could, trying not to make a sound, I beamed! I was actually getting away with this! As soon as I bit into that beautiful Chocolate Easter Egg, my mom snapped a photo and started laughing! I was caught. But my mom, being in a good mood, just took my chocolate and told me that since I had a bite when I wasn't suppose to, she was going to have a bite. Well, I wasn't too happy about that, but I survived that dreadful form of torture! That was a day I would relive.

Have you ever had that feeling of excitement? Perhaps when you were a little kid and you thought you heard Santa Claus, or the night before your birthday, or when you were all dressed up and waiting to go out for Halloween? The feeling where you are Sooo excited that you can't sleep, that you are so excited that you are almost sick! That one? That's how I feel right now!
I have always loved horses. Always. And last year, I adopted a horse. It was incredible; an amazing experience. And today, at 11:00am, SHE'S COMING!! I love her! I missed her! I am so excited! I am SO excited!
I missed her, it is amazing how much you forget... Forgetting the feeling of flying, soaring, dancing. I forgot how incredible it feels to become one... To feel Free, complete freedom. Complete love. Complete trust .
