I was on facebook just a couple of minutes ago, and I read my brother's girlfreinds status. It said this:

and 19 months later we are still together

And i'm so touched. She is brave enough to put this in her status, smart enough to think of this, and strong enough to put up with my brother! haha.

And although she is younger, I can't help but admire her. How she does it is unbelievable. She's right, she is beating the odds. She is so strong.
And although I never will tell her this, and I know that she won't see my Blog-ever. I can't help but share her with the world. She truly is precious.

So here's my unwritten response;

Song of the Day

So for today's song of the day, I chose the song "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. I actually LOVE this song soo much! And there is a backstory to today's song. I was going to audition for the play the Wizard of Oz, and we had to choose a song to sing from a play. I chose this song because my voice is really high, and so I could actually sing this song. Anyway, I practiced and practiced and then came show time. They called my name and I was lead into a room with 3 Judges and a piano player. I looked at them, and the next thing I know, the piano player was already 30 seconds through the song and she was mouthing the words to me. I ALMOST PASSED OUT that's how scared I was. My knees were shakey, and I just stood there-frozen. Haha, needless to say that I did NOT make it into the production.
Anyway, Celine Dion sings this song BEAUTIFULLY and she does not freeze while singing it! :D
I first heard this song when I was watching Titanic, and this song just made my cry! It was incredible. And when I think of Titanic, I think of this song.

Yesterday

So yesterday, I was invited to my friend Nick's house and it was pretty much Amazing! We did a lot of things and one of them was a movie; we watched the Time Travellor's Wife-and OH MY GOSH! I had never seen the movie before and may I say that it was AMAZINGG!! Usually, I cry in movies. I cry pretty easily too-something super cute, or sad or funny-I'm crying. And I heard that the Time Travellor's Wife was really good and that it was a bit sad at the ending but this was SO sad! I was pretty much crying through the ENTIRE movie. And you know how it goes, once you start you can't stop it!
Anyways, so here I am meeting his family for the first time, and I'm sitting on the couch bawling my eyes out! Kay Sweet.
And his family is one of those families that are quiet and his dad and brother is kind-of weird, so that just made it even better?!
Lol, but it was so good! I DEFFINATELY reccomend this movie to Anyone!

And before the movie, we went and saw his horses (Which was incredible!) His horse was 17 hands tall!! THATS HUGE!
He also took me to see his Swans and Sheep. It was pretty cool. Except that I was TERRIFIED that the Swans would attack me! (My mom has had it happen before, and I've heard a BUNCH of stories that people have got attacked!) So needless to say, I was Extremely glad when it didn't attack me.
We also went for a walk in the bush, and that was pretty awesome. We threw snow at each other though. :)

All in all, it was a pretty great night! And I can't wait to go back again!

For today's song, I figure that a song about Comedy would be awesome! I was listening to the radio yesterday, and I heard this song again, and I just laughed. I think that this is an extremely clever song and it just matches how I feel. I am also religious, but this song just gets me going. :)
I don't know any other songs, from this band, off hand. But I love it!

I absolutely LOVE christmas. My mom and I decorate the tree every year and we bake christmas cookies. This year, Alex, Dylan and a bunch of other friends went to the tree lighting ceremony and I LOVED it.
Every year I am the First person up in my family. Haha, last year, I allowed myself out of bed at 4:30 am. (The rule is that we can open our stocking up before anyone else is awake) And I unwrapped my presents as loud as I could!! My stocking has a bell on it, and so I shook my stocking and tried to wake everyone up!
Eventually I ended up getting Sarah up, and anyone was awake before 5am. :)
Needless to say, I Absolutely LOVE christmas!

My Friend Dylan

He is a Jerk. he is ALWAYS grouchy and ALWAYS complaining! He can't speak properly and he always uses his hands when he talks. He always has his necklace on wrong, and he drives me Insane! He always makes me sit beside a creepy guy in Business leadership and he is always bugging me! And he's pretty funny looking!

But overall, I love to laugh at him. He's a pretty funny guy ( to laugh at). He knows how to take a joke, and he is there for his friends. He is a great dancer-no matter what Stupid costumes he wears! and he is pretty cool. Sometimes.
I enjoy having him as my friend. Thanks Dill!

My Friend Alex

So pretty much, I love my friend Alex. She is incredible :) She's always there for me when I need her and she brings coffee and cookies :). She always makes me laugh, and she's so gorgeous! We always tease Dylan, and so even on the worst of days it's Hillarious and she makes me smile!

I guess what I am trying to get at, is thank you Alex for always being there when I need you :) <3



And Dylan sucks.

As the new year comes again, I can't help but feel like I'm getting old. I actually remember having to erase my date of 1999 to the year 2000! And last week, I accidently wrote 2007 instead of 2010. I feel though time has gotten away from me, and left me in the dust.
I remember the days when my brother and I would run around catching frogs and snakes (Yes, I was a tomboy) or when my dad and I went three-wheeling! lol, I was probably 6 years old and he took me 3-wheeling the one day. He was being a show-off to his friend and (WHILE I WAS ON THE BACK) he did a pop-a-wheelie in the mud! He ended up flipping us off and we landed in the mud. I remember that I was SO mad at him that I walked all the way home! Haha.
Or when my mom and I would run outside when it was raining, and we would sing "Im a little tea pot" and dance in the rain :)
Those were some precious moments...
And now, I'm stuck in school-which could be my last year and I wonder what precious moments I have made this year? Did I do everything I wanted to do? Or is there anything that I regret? Did I just waste this year or did I give my all in everything?
I hope that I will remember these thoughts throughout 2011-but let's be serious here, I doubt I will. It will probably be another year with regrets and questions. But hey, it's a nice thought right?

So for today's song, I choose to do a song by Keith Urban. I actually LOVE this song and I think that it is sooo adorable!! I LOVE country music and this song just works for me. I love it when guys are sincere and can express their feelings, and that's exactly what Keith Urban did here. I HIGHLY reccommend this song.

Wonderful Friday Night

Friday after school, I had the privileged of having  Alex Urlando after school. We took my puppy for a walk down to the Waterlot and she chased the ducks. We went to Meme's and Alex bought me a large coffee (BLESS HER HEART) and a chocolate chip cookie. We walked back to my house and we made ourselves supper and tea and off we went to the Lighting of the Tree in New Hamburg. We had previous arrangements to meet up with Nyla, Julia, Dylan and Alex Dow. 

So we walked to the tree and waited around the fountain. We scanned the crowd for the rest of the gang but couldn't find them. In our search, a man, with a mental disability, came over and talked to us. He wished us a Merry Christmas and told us not to eat too much food. We laughed as he told us that he always ate too much donuts. And then we were off. Alex Thankfully found the rest of our friends and we all got together and talked.

The power was out in New Hamburg, so the people who were running the event just blasted some Christmas music. We were singing, when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back and the man was back. He smiled and asked me if I wanted to dance. I thought "Might as well" and replied that I would love to. We danced and laughed and he ended up telling me that his mother just died. I felt so bad for the man...

The music ended, and he said thank-you to me, and then he asked Alex to dance! 

After she came back, we danced and sang and laughed in the snow while people around us enjoyed their time as well. 

The night carried on, and after the tree was lit, we all went back to Nyla's house for some hot chocolate. We shared stories, laughed and Dylan and I threw snow at each other. (Mind you, he had terrible aim and never managed to hit me.) 

I went home and I finally felt like it was Christmas. The singing, dancing, story-sharing, laughing, snow-throwing Christmas that you always watch in the movies. And the kind of Christmas that makes a joyful memory.

 For today's song, I've chose the song "I'm In a Hurry" by Alabama (Yes, it is a country song). The reason why I chose this song was because I find that everyone is always rushing around. Especially on Christmas. And I know that I am no exception to this rush, but I think that's part of the reason why people love camping, hiking, walking, canoeing/boating, going to the beach, fishing. It's because time doesn't seem like quite an issue. We CAN relax, take a few breaths and enjoy what is going on around us. We are too busy running out to the car in the morning to notice the freshly fallen snow. To notice the dog running around. To notice the hard work that people  put into shoveling the sidewalks. I am going to try and slow down this Christmas season and enjoy the beauty of life. I mean, there is only going to be a December 2010 once. And I challenge you to do the same.

The Undeniable Crush

So I missed a couple days of blogging, so I'm just catching up ;) One of the days assignments was to blog about a crush and so, here I am. A Blog that I enjoy...

A blog that I enjoy would be pretty much anything about horses. Haha, could you guess? But one in particular would have to be "Fugly Horse of the Day". I find that it is familarly amusing material and, to be honest, I just Love the name of it.
