For today's song, I chose a song that you will all probably know. It was sung in Titanic by Celine Dion and it is one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard. This song has a long range of notes and it is gorgeous. There is also a story to this song. When I was in grade..7? 8 Maybe? My sister and I tried out for a play (put on by TCP) I had never tried out for a play before, and my music teacher encouraged me to try out for it. So I found out that you had to pick a song from a play, and I chose this one. I got some help with it, and I practiced every day (well Almost!). Anyways, try out day came and I got in there and could not remember the words to the song. I was so nervous that I almost fainted. I'm pretty sure I froze for a good 30 seconds because I did not hear the music start or anything, and the next thing I know the pianist was about 30 seconds into the song. Haha, needless to say I walked out of there and didn't get the part ;)
So I hope you enjoyed the story, and here's the song! It's called "My Heart Will Go On".
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
I love this song
